Few people realize how important customer service is. Most of us have already gotten used to rotten customer support that we tend to just accept whatever offer any company can give us. Very few people realize that good customer service is a right. Without customers, a business will sink – we give business to these companies and it is only right that we are treated like royalty.
How many times have you ordered pizza and you are met with a sour young lady? How many times have you gone to the grocery store only to pay a cashier who doesn’t even want to look at you? If this could happen in real time, how much more online?
A few years ago, people complained about the products they’ve purchased from websites. They emailed and called, only to realize that no one was answering. They couldn’t do anything but to inform their families and friends and anyone they can reach, not to buy for certain sites. Sometimes, someone answers, but it took a long time that the consumers already forgot what their complaint was all about. That’s how bad customer service was before.
Thankfully today, most credible websites already have live customer support. This is really a breakthrough! Now people can interact with customer support in real time and get their feedback in the soonest possible time. Now who doesn’t want that?
